The APM bari alternating pressure system is used to treat severe pressure ulcer patients up to stage IV according to EPUAP.
Patients weighing up to 280 kg can be positioned on the specially designed mattress. The control unit has the same basic functions as the successful APM 440 system. Two high-quality full metal compressors ensure long-lasting and safe operation. A pressure sensor ensures an exact pressure level within the system and low-noise operation thanks to the switch-off function between cycles.
Additional functions such as care mode, 3 time cycles, static mode (CLP) and automatic button lock complete the range of applications and simplify handling. The mattress, which is 120 cm wide in the standard version, has 18 nylon PU cells that guarantee a secure hold with special holding loops. Each cell is fitted with a CPC coupling, which means that the mattress can be released within a very short time. The cell holding loops are designed to be extra robust.
