APM 440 XC R/B

Our latest upgraded version of the successful APM440 Series, the XC with Cell-On-Cell system, an effective solution for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers. The APM440 XC R/B is a mattress replacement system which is designed for use in care, nursing and hospital environments.

It includes a control unit with digital sensors which control the internal pressure of the mattress enabling optimal support pressure. The internal pressure adjusts automatically to the patient’s body mass and movement. Active Mattress adjustment is achieved with the aid of a touch pad interface which is equipped with simple to comprehend pictograms resulting in a quick and easy operation. Other features include automatic key lock, alternating pressure with 3-time cycles giving a choice of 5/10/15 minutes, CLP and care modes.

The system is made up of a digital control unit with twin membrane pumps, guaranteeing fast inflation and operation of the system. The mattress, with 20 air cells, 17 of which can be decoupled from the main system to provide pressure free zones and is Ideal for prone positioning in cases of (ARDS) Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome with COVID-19 patients.

The base cell acts as a basic pressure support to avoid bottoming out in case of a power outage. There are 7 narrow heel cells and the 3 head cells provide a pillow function. It boasts non-bending connecting tubes with transportation safety lock, self-closing connection valves and CPR emergency ventilation.

The PU mattress cover is bi-elastic, watertight and steam permeable and all materials used are bio-compatible.
