Another method of reducing support pressures is the use of high-quality foam mattresses. The choice of materials in particular, but also the type of combination and cuts play a decisive role here.

We recommend our high-quality PU protective covers (all-round cover) for all foam mattresses. These are made from breathable polyester fabric with a polyurethane coating. The covers are bi-elastic and washable. An overlap prevents liquids from penetrating the zip.

The hollow fibre product line was specially developed for the treatment and prevention of pressure sores in home care.

The products are filled with a siliconised hollow polyester fibre. In this process, high-quality hollow fibres are coated with a wafer-thin layer of silicone. The resulting lubricity of the fibre filling results in a very high degree of shear force reduction. The uniform, dense filling, which is also stitched to prevent slippage, enables an even distribution of pressure and thus significantly reduces the contact pressure. The products are all machine washable and offer a balanced climate thanks to their breathable cover fabrics.
